r.a.d.KIDS
Resisting Aggression Defensively

r.a.d.KIDS is a nationally recognized, comprehensive personal safety course for children ages 5 - 12.

r.a.d.KIDS Logo

Topics include:

Home Safety (including Fire Safety)
School Safety and Bullying Prevention
Out-and-About Safety
Resistance against Abuse and Abduction
Good, Bad, and Uncomfortable Touch
Physical Resistance Techniques

The r.a.d.KIDS course does include self-defense techniques, but it is much more than physical training--it provides kids with much that Martial Arts classes simply can't offer. It gives kids the confidence and empowerment they need in order to really understand the "Three Things All Kids Should Know":

  1. No one has the right to hurt me.
  2. I don't have the right to hurt anyone else, including myself, except if escaping from physical harm.
  3. If someone does hurt me or trick me, it's not my fault, and I should tell.

PRE-ACT, inc. offers r.a.d.KIDS classes to schools, churches, youth groups, scout troops, 4-H clubs, and neighborhood groups.

Please take a moment to visit the r.a.d.KIDS Web site at www.radkids.org.
